VDA QMC & AIAG – Harmonisation of SPC, yellow band published

2025 was dominated by the harmonisation of SPC between AIAG and VDA. The result: a jointly agreed yellow band that brings together the previous approaches and makes them internationally comparable.

The feedback phase ends in May 2026.

Following final approval in September and release by the Quality Management Committee on 18 November, the yellow book will be published in English on the VDA and AIAG websites in January. This will be followed by a three-month feedback phase.
