The aviation, space and defence industry places high demands on quality, safety, reliability and supply chains. Audits are a key instrument for assessing the effectiveness of management systems, identifying risks and systematically verifying requirements from standards and customer projects.
In this training, participants acquire the fundamental knowledge and methods needed to professionally plan, conduct, evaluate and follow up 1st and 2nd party audits based on ISO 9001, EN 9100 and NATO AQAP. The training is based on ISO 19011 as the guideline for auditing management systems.
The focus is on practical application: participants learn how to assess requirements from aviation, space and defence in an audit context, evaluate evidence, document nonconformities in a traceable way and identify opportunities for improvement.
After the training, you will be able to plan, conduct and evaluate internal audits and supplier audits in the context of ISO 9001, EN 9100 and NATO AQAP in a more structured way. You will understand the role of ISO 19011 as an audit guideline and will be able to apply audit principles, audit planning, interview techniques, evidence evaluation and reporting in practice.
You will receive a solid foundation for taking on audit responsibilities in the aviation, space and defence industry as well as in demanding supply chains, and for professionally verifying requirements for quality management systems.

Basic knowledge of quality management according to ISO 9001 and initial knowledge of EN 9100 or AQAP are beneficial.
